Live Update: Pakistan Responds to Indian Air Force’s attack on POK

Pakistan authorities has accepted that the Indian Air Force’s fight aircrafts crossed the Pakistan Line of Control but were “scrambled” immediately. Major General Asif Ghafoor has responded to the recent Air Strike conducted by the Indian Air Force.

Major General Asif Ghafoor is the Official Spokesperson to Pakistan’s Armed Forces. Im a string of tweets he has responded to the Indian Force’s Attack on POK. He said that Indian Air Force violated the Pakistan Line of Control 9LOC), but immediately scrambled due to Pakistan’s response.

He added, “Indian aircrafts’ intrusion across LOC in Muzaffarabad Sector within AJ&K was 3-4 miles. Under forced hasty withdrawal aircrafts released payload which had free fall in open area.”

 

Indian authorities have claimed that the Airstrike was very successful and they were able to neutralize 300 terrorists. No casualties were taken on the Indian side. Indian politicians and members of the armed forces has commended this action, calling it a fitting reply to the Pulwama Terror Attack. And also commending the performance of Indian Air Force’s Dassault Mirage 2000.

This air strike comes in to the Terror attack by Jaish-e-Mohammed in the Pulwama district. The also conducted a similar special operation in the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir dubbed the Surgical strike which was a response to the URI terror attack.
