Google Duo is one of the video calling communication App developed by Google that people liked. It was originally released worldwide on August 16, 2016. Google developers assured that it’s is end-to-end encryption is enabled by default, Duo is optimised for low-Bandwidth network and let users make calls in high definition. Google Duo is released for both popular operating systems, Android and iOS in 2016.
Duo is getting more popular after the rumours of the web version that Google was working on expanding the platform support of Duo, Google developers are working very hard to optimise the video and audio quality for the new platform. Now the service is available for the web and users can place calls from the web browser.
The Web version is as simple as a mobile one, all you have to go to official Duo site and then login via your Gmail account, the page includes all your contact/numbers list on startup. You can search for your contact via their name or number to make a video/voice call from the web version.
This update is not available for all users, we may have to wait for it a little bit longer until the update of Google Duo is available for all the users or devices, but still, it’s nice to see that one of the free and most popular video/voice calling communication application is now live on 2 major platforms i.e Web and Mobile.
