Indian Air Force Intercepts Pakistan’s F-16, PAF’s One F-16 Shot

Breaking News -Three Pakistans Air Force’s F-16s crossed the line of control and entered the Indian Air Space on Wednesday morning. But Indian authorities are reporting that the attempt was futile and the 3 PAF’s F-16 was promptly pushed back. Indian authorities are also reporting that one of the 3 PAF’s F-16 was shot down near the LOC.

ANI has reported that “Parachute seen as Pakistan Air Force’s F-16 was going down, condition of the pilot is unknown.”

The Pakistan Airforce’s Pilot has reportedly been captured but as of right now we don’t know his status.

According to Pakistan authorities, this cross border infiltration attempt by the PAF was a response to the Indian Air Strike that Indian Air Force conducted on Tuesday. In the Air Strike, IAF targetted Jaish-e-Mohammad terror base in the Balakot district of Pakistan.

Pakistan Authorities has taken responsibility for this infiltration attempt. Mohammad Faisal, Pakistan’s MoFA spokesperson has said, “Sole purpose of this action was to demonstrate our right, will and capability for self-defence. We do not wish to escalate but are fully prepared if forced into that paradigm.”

Indian Authorities have also sealed the Indian Air Space of Jammu and Kashmir and its Southern regions. This is to protect Indian Aircraft from unnecessary harm. The regions sealed by the Indian Air Force Includes Dehradun, Chandigarh, Dharamshala, Pathankot, Amritsar, Leh. Srinagar, And Jammu.
