Update: IAF’s Chooper Crashes in Budgam District of Jammu and Kashmir

MiG-17 Chopper of Indian Air Force crashed in Badgam in Jammu Kashmir The cause of the accident has not yet been disclosed. There is also news that this Chopper has crashed due to technical failure. Two bodies were found from the spot. SSP Budgam told the media, “The Indian Air force technical team is reaching the spot, only after that will be fully informed, we have got two dead bodies.” Two people died in this incident. Officials said that the plane crashed in the open ground at Garang Kalan village of Badgam, around 10.55 am in the morning.


He told that the MI-17 Chopper broke into two parts and it immediately caught fire. Officials said that the identification of both the dead could not be confirmed. However immediately. the Pakistan military claimed it had shot down the aircraft along with another Indian jet after they “violated Pakistani airspace”.
