Delhi High Court Judge, Valmiki Mehta Passed Away on Friday Due to a Heart Attack

Judge Valmiki Mehta of Delhi High Court passed away this morning due to a heart attack. Born on June 6, 1959, in Mumbai, Judge Mehta took office as an Additional Judge in Delhi High Court on April 15, 2009. He started his career as an advocate in 1982 and in 2001, at the age of 42, he was nominated as a senior advocate. Mehta’s son is married to the daughter of CJI Ranjan Gogoi.

Judge Mehta completed schooling from Central Vidyalaya, Visakhapatnam. After that, he completed his graduation in B.Com from Mr Venkateswara College of Delhi University. Judge Mehta completed his LL.B from Delhi University’s Campus of Law Center.
