Green Bay, Wisconsin: All the lanes of the Interstate 43 on the Leo Frigo Memorial Bridge in Green Bay, Wisconsin have been closed due to a crash involving multiple vehicles.
There are reports that there were multiple injuries but there are no reported fatalities as of right now.
All the southbound lanes of I-43 at Atkinson Drive have been shutdown and northbound are only usable by emergency services to access the scene of the incident, Wisconsin Department of Transportation said.
Green Bay Police and Emergency Services were immediately called to the scene after the accident. The road was reportedly “cold, windy and slick,” Green Bay Police said. They also added, “Traffic engineers will be monitoring city intersections and working with the police department to minimize traffic backups in the city.”
Authorities have advised Motorists to use the Ray Nitschke Bridge. There are no further updates right now but we will be continuing to cover the story.
