Reports are just coming in that shots fired call has been made in the West Virginia University, Morgantown. Morgantown Police Department and West Virginia University Police have responded to the call and are on the scene.
ALERT: #Morgantown Police are responding to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of College Avenue and Falling Run Road. Citizens are asked to stay clear of this area until further notice. Information will be updated as available.

Authorities have closed off the area around the Area of College Ave/ Falling and are investigating the scene. Until they have advised all Citizens of Morgantown to “avoid the area.”

West Virginia University Police have also advised: “not to spread misinformation about the situation on social media” and added “University Police and Morgantown Police are your only official sources in emergency situations.”

WVU police have also updated that College Avenue is still closed but classes will continue as normal
