Alexandria, Va- Paul Manafort, Former Trump campaign has been sentenced in federal prison for tax and bank fraud for 47 months.

His lawyer Kevin Dowling requested the court that Manafort should be sentenced in a federal prison camp in Cumberland, Maryland.
U.S District Judge T.S. Ellis ordered the sentence in federal court in Virginia. He said that after the prison term he will be under supervision for three years.
Last year Paul Manafort was convinced on eight counts, that includes bank fraud and tax fraud.
The evidence in the case showed that Mr. Manafort Hid millions of dollars of income for his work on behalf of foreign governments in overseas accounts and misled financial institutions to obtain million more in loans.
Manafort’s Lawyer had asked for leniency on Lack of a criminal record, Mr. Manafort’s age, and his Health problems as he will be turning to 70 next month.
