UPDATE: Officials are reporting that the Interstate 90 has been reopened. Officials are also advising motorists to be patient and wait for the traffic to clear.
Post Falls, Idaho: Last night on Friday Idaho State Police and Engineers from the Fairchild Air Force Base responded to a vehicular incident that occurred in an Idaho rest stop. This caused the Interstate 90 to be closed between exit 5 and exit 12.

Both the eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed for the driver and the closure can last until 10 pm, ISP said.
The incident occurred last night before midnight near Coeur d’Alene area at a rest stop. A Semi truck overturned and caused the Idaho State Police to shut down the Interstate 90.
Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team from the Fairchild Air Force Base were also called to the scene. They were called to assist the ISP and emergency responders.
ISP has advised driver not to take I 90 and use an alternate route. They also add that I 90 is expected to be closed till 10 pm until the scene is cleared.
