The Filipino Times published a recent report revealing the cause of death of Comedian Chokoleit. Jonathan Aguilar Garcia, better known as Chokoleit died (46) died after performing in an event in Abra yesterday on March 9. After the event, he reported that he had trouble breathing. He was transported to rushed to the Abra Provincial Hospital but unfortunately, he died a few minutes after reaching there.
Star Magic didn’t provide us with any detail about Chokoleit’s cause of death. But a recent report published in The Filipino Times has shed some light into his cause of death. The report reveals that Chokoleit suffered from pulmonary edema and cardiac arrest after the event which resulted in his death and this is also corroborated by comedian’s attending physician Dr. Rosauro Seares.
Pulmonary Edema is a condition in which a person’s lungs are filled with fluids. Alveoli (air sacks) are filled with fluids which then hampers the proper functioning of the lungs resulting in difficulty in breathing. And in most cases Heart problem causes Pulmonary Edema.
Many Comedians are turning to Twitter to show their condolences and pay respect to Chokoleit’s death including Comedian Vice Ganda who in a tweet said, “Thank you Lord for giving me a chance to meet Chokoleit and become his friend. I’m sad that we lost him but happy that he’ll be in a much peaceful and happier place now with you. Thanks for everything Chokie. I love you!!! Rest well my friend.”

Chokoleit starred in many ABS-CBN movies and 2004’s Kapamilya fantaserye “Marina” was one of her most notable performance.
