Nancy Pelosi’s Dismissal on Trump’s Impeachment, said ‘He’s Just Not Worth It’

Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi said in a recent interview to the Washington Post that she is not up for impeaching Donald Trump, Yet.

Her Statement comes in light of the recent interview by Washington Post. In that interview, she expressed her views about how it is too early to impeachment trump as the investigation is still going on. She said, “I’m not for impeachment. This is news. I’m going to give you some news right now because I haven’t said this to any press person before,”

And added,  “But since you asked, and I’ve been thinking about this: Impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path, because it divides the country. And he’s just not worth it.”

Although this statement is very decisive in conveying her views about trump and this situation, this is not something expected. She had previously shown her doubts about impeaching Donald trump even though it goes against what her party member thinks.

Last week she also said, “Impeachment is a divisive issue in our country. And let us see what the facts are, what the law is, and what the behaviour is of the president,”

She has also said it very early to say something regarding the allegations against Donald Trump as the investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller was still going, but this statement comes at a rather strange time when special counsel’s investigation has revealed a lot of facts surrounding the 2016 presidential election.
