Verizon Wireless confirms that there is a texting outage on the east coast and their technicians are resolving this problem as soon as possible. Verizon Wireless is fully aware that their customers are being affected and they are working non-stop to gets this matter solved soon.

The company says that the estimated time to resolve this problem is unknown at this time. Some users in South Carolina and the southeast United States claimed online that they have issues in the service. Many Twitter users have also reported on this issue on Tuesday morning

@VZWSupport @VerizonSupport is there something going on with the Verizon wireless network? None of my texts are going through. I spoke to some of my friends that got Verizon Wireless as well and same for them. I get an “Error 5: Other network problem” message.
