West Phoenix: Officer Paul Rutherford of Phoenix Police Department died after being hit by a vehicle in west Phoenix on Thursday.
According to the report, Officer Paul Rutherford died at a nearby hospital, where he was taken in extremely critical condition.
Paul Rutherford is a 51 years old Phoenix Police Officer and leaves behind a wife and two adult children.
According to Phoenix Police Sergeant Tommy Thompson, Officer Paul Rutherford was hit in a serious collision while investigating a traffic collision near Indian School Ave and 75th Ave. Officer Rutherford served the Phoenix Police Department for nearly 23 years.
