Crunchyroll announces Somali to Mori no Kamisama anime adaptation this Fall

This fall, Crunchyroll has something to give for all those Yako Gureishi’s Somali and the Forest Spirit (Somali to Mori no Kamisama) manga lovers. This week’s Anime event in Japan acknowledged the TV anime adaptation of the manga as part of the fall 2019 anime season.

The synopsis of the manga includes a golem that discovers an abandoned child one day in the forest and together the pair set out to find more humans while travelling across a strange fantasy world.

Kenji Yasuda is in prime talking to direct the to be anime in at Satelight along with Ikuko Ito is designing the character who previously worked for Princess Tutu and The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan.

Sources reveal that Inori Minase is casted to play Somali and Daisuke Ono as Golem in the anime.

Launched in Tokuma Shoten’s Web Comic Zenyon web manga site in April 2015, the anime adaptation came to existence when Crunchyroll announced to co-produce.
