An off Duty Chicago Police officer was shot and killed on Saturday Near River North in Chicago, Chicago PD Reported.

The incident took place at around 3:30 a.m near the 700 block of North Clark Street when two suspects approached a parked car and fired shots at it.
Both the individuals were hit by direct gunshot with one of the man sustaining gunshot to his chest, arm and mouth, police said. He was immediately transported to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police have said that the other person who was also taken to the Northwestern Memorial Hospital is in critical condition.
Police are on the scene and are investigating this incident.
