People of South Bay woke up to an earthquake on late night on Monday when earthquake of 2.9 magnitude of richer scale hit the South Bay and Morgan hill area, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
Reports about the earthquake are still coming in but according to Officials the epicentre of the earthquake was at the 7.5 miles north-northeast of Morgan Hill. Emergency services have been called to affected area and citizens are volunteering to help.
The are no reports on the damage or injuries caused by the earthquake.
