Killing Eve Leads 14 Nominations in BAFTA TV Awards

Since the foundation in 1947, British Acadamy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has continuously providing awards for the prominent work in the fields of film and television. This year, BAFTA TV awards are going to be held on May 12 at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

BAFTA London’s headquarter on Thursday released all the nominations of 26 categories for 2019 ceremony and the nominees for the “Virgin TV’s Must-See Moments” were announced on Wednesday. BBC drama Killing Eve tops the list of nominations with whopping 14 nominations whilst Huge Grants (also for Best Actor) miniseries A Very English Scandal received 12 nominations. The other includes Sherlock aka Cumber batch Patrick (also for Best Actor) with six followed by terrorist thriller Bodyguard and A little Drummer with five nominations each.

The political thriller Bodyguard and Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Killing eve are the most critically acclaimed series.
