Clay County, Fl. Clay County is hit with a widespread power outage on Monday morning leaving 42,000 residents with no power.
Clay County Sheriff’s Office put out a notice saying, “Clay Electric is aware of the large power outages throughout our county and their teams are actively working on the situation. “

Clay County Sheriff’s Office advised drivers to be cautious ” intersection(s) without traffic control devices,” and “should be treated as four-way stops.”
2/2 Dark areas and paths that you are unfamiliar should certainly be treated with caution, as well. We also ask that you use common sense around closed businesses, schools and properties that are without proper lighting considering they may not be open as usually planned. #CCSOFL

They also asked people to wary “Dark areas and paths.”
Clay County Emergency Management is working in conjunction with Clay Electric to find the cause of the power outage and fix the problem.
