Civilization VI Supports Cloud Saves On Steam And Nintendo Switch

Your life has just become a tad easier! Sid Meier’s Civilization VI has just received a minor update. the time-sink strategy game tweeted that it now has cross-platform saves on Steam and Nintendo Switch.

This essentially means you could be playing on your computer and continue the game on Switch, in either portable or docked mode. This obviously comes on quite handy when you consider just how long Civ matches take to complete.

This is definitely a user-friendly feature. As the tweet says, all you have to do is link your @2K Account, tick the multi-platform cloud save box in options, and you’re good to go! The only downside here is the fact since Switch does not include newer content you’re limited To base game saves. Though there’s some hope that the Switch will get Gathering Storm before long.
