The former UFC Champion Conor McGregor was embroiled in yet another controversy after he was called rapist by Khabib for racist remarks against his wife.
In the tweet, the current UFC Lightweight Champion, khabib nurmagomedov who recently defeated McGregor in a fight said, “Rapist, you are Rapist.” “You are a hypocrite who is not responsible for your actions. Justice will find you,” Khabib added.
Rapist, you are Rapist.
You are a hypocrite who is not responsible for your actions. Justice will find you.

Khabib this tweet came in response to McGregor now-deleted tweet in which he disrespected Khabib wife calling her “a Towel” while referring to this picture of Khabib’s Marriage.
And this comment a huge backlash from fans on both sides. Khabib’s Manager Ali Abdelaziz also turned to Twitter and said, “Talking shit, this guy is insulting someone’s wife and making fun of her religion and belief.” He accused Connor of insulting “1.5 billon Muslims.”
Talking shit, this guy is insulting someone’s wife and making fun of her religion and belief. He doesn’t realize he’s insulting 1.5 billon Muslims. Religion and family is a no no. You’re fucked Connor, let’s see what the media is going to say now. He’s a rapist, and a bitch.

However, in what it would seem like an apology for his tweets McGregor said, “I want to move forward, with my fans of all faiths and all backgrounds. All faiths challenge us to be our best selves.” He then proceeded to challenge Khabib to a fight and said, “see you in the Octagon.”
I want to move forward, with my fans of all faiths and all backgrounds.
All faiths challenge us to be our best selves.
It is one world and one for all ❤️
Now see you in the Octagon.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) April 4, 2019
Khabib or his Manager Abdelaziz haven’t confirmed whether they are ready for a rematch now seeing the recent controversy that McGregor has gotten himself into.
Many are calling it a PR move to draw attention to the McGregor vs Khabib rematch but it looks like McGregor took it a bit too far.
