The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is back with its season 2 on Netflix you will be able to stream it online on the Netflix from April 5, 2019.
Although Sabrina’s core audience is the younger generation, it is totally here to make bold proclamations as it is a very refreshing and indulging fantasy story which moves with a great progressive spirit of the youth.
This show is an adaptation of the darker reboot of Sabrina’s comics from the Archie Universe. Set in the gothic town of Greendale, this witchy teen show is back with its new nine episodes.
Storyline (Season 1):
Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) is a 16-year-old girl who lives in Greendale. She is half-witch and half-mortal. After her parents’ death in a plane crash, just when she was a baby, she has been brought up by heraunts: Hilda (Lucy Davis) and Zelda (Miranda Otto).
Before she turns 16, she managed to maintain a balance between her mortal life and witch life. She has a sweet mortal boyfriend and two mortal best friends, in her normal high school. But once she has turned 16, she has to choose between her mortal life and her witch life. As a witch, she is supposed to sign the book of the beasts.
After many twists and turns, the dark lord puts her in aposition where she has to sign the book and in return of her loyalty tothe Satan, she receives immortality and gets to retain her witch powers.
Season two depicts her new adventures now that she has signed the book and has learned more about The Church Of Night. She has also been shown getting cozy with warlock Nick Scratch (Gavinleatherwood).
