NOPD police officer shot Dead on Thursday night in 3700 block of Tulane Avenue. According to the reports the officer has been wounded in the leg. The shooting happened at around 9:16 p.m. inside a Shell Gas Station.

Police stated that the wounded police official has been taken to a nearby hospital.
New Orleans Emergency Medical Services stated that the wound was serious but not life-threatening and he will be discharged soon.
How the shooting happened has not been identified yet.
According to the latest reports, 2 people have been taken into custody by NOPD officials.
