It might not be too long before we have our most awaited and anticipated upcoming futuristic RPG. For years we waited with no sign of a new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer and gameplay details since the game was announced in 2012 and the first trailer that was launched in 2013, but finally, it was at E3 2018 when fans were treated with a huge demo that showed Cyberpunk 2077, and the recent statement from the CD Projekt Red boss Adam Kicinski, ‘Cyberpunk is at the advanced stage’, from which it is expected that we might have the release by the end of 2019 or at the latest the first half of 2020 Polish studio is expected to finally announce the release date at E3 in June this year, and also the platform at which it’ll be played like PS4, Xbox one, Pc’s and possibly the next-gen systems. There is also a report that CyberPunk 2077 could also be coming to Sony’s Latest Next Gen Console the PS5.
Adapted from 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020, the latest version is set fifty-seven years later in dystopian Night City, California, an open world with six distinct regions. The RPG will be played in the first-person perspective as V, a mercenary whose sex, hairstyles, face, body type, body modifications, background, and clothing are customisable. V’s clothing alters how interactions fare with non-player characters (NPCs).
Weapons
In June 2017, early designs were stolen and threatened to be released to the public, but the developer refused to comply with the ransom demand. The development reportedly reached a milestone in late 2017, and in March 2018, a new studio was opened in Wrocław to aid the production. That July, nearly 350 employees were developing it, and by the following month, the story was fully realised and could facilitate a complete playthrough.
In October 2018, CD Projekt Red announced the long-term collaboration with Canadian studio Digital Scapes for additional technology for Cyberpunk 2077. By January 2019, the staff exceeded 400 After the tremendous hype created, CD Projekt finally released a 48minute gameplay footage, based on the demo journalists saw at E3 2018, wherein you’ll get to see what gunplay looks like, character creation and backstory assignment, plus how you’ll upgrade yourself via cybernetic enhancements. You’ll meet some of the characters in Cyberpunk’s seedy crime circuit and explore the city on foot and in vehicles.

During their latest financial call, the Polish studio revealed that they are in talks with Google, regarding their support for stadia, which means that Cyberpunk 2077 might also end up releasing on the Google platform. As of know, there’s not too much to talk about but certainly by the month of June at E3 which might turn out to be the biggest showdown ever is expected to answer all of our questions.
