What to expect in Fear the Walking Dead Season 5?
Now the biggest question is that ‘Will they really work together or change their mind and continue their journey?’ Fear the Walking Dead is not based on Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead comic series. The story is always an original one. It can go in whichever direction the writers and producers
However, if we assume that Morgan’s group actually try to make this world a better place. Then, the characters will be growing with a philosophy based on hope, community, and benevolence. They will be thinking that they might get help only if they make ways for others. Helping people will be the ultimate test for them. Well, they might even face their pasts. Because it is expected that Ruben Blades’ Daniel Salazar and Daniel Sharman’s Troy Otto both might return after being missing and presumed dead in season 4.
The main cast will include Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Dwight, Morgan Jones, Alycia Debnam-Carey. It is expected that Kim Dickens and Frank Dillane both might miss the season because characters played by them Madison and Nick Clark both died. It was one of the horrible decisions made by the creators. Dwight (Austin Amelio) will be joining the show this season making him the second Walking Dead crossover character after James’ Morgan. Dwight will be seen searching his wife, Sherry. Moreover, Daniel Salazar and Daniel Sharman both will return in season 5 after missing the previous season. Furthermore, the fan’s favourite character Alice might lose leadership in the group. This can be a poor decision by the showrunners.
Usually, Fear the Walking Dead airs immediately after the airing of latest season of The Walking Dead ends. But, This year The Walking Dead season 9 concluded on March 31 and Fear the Walking Dead season 5 did not follow. It is expected to air its first episode on 2 June 2019, almost two months late. This means that there might be no pause between this season of Fear the Walking Dead and next season of The Walking Dead. The air time for Fear of Walking Dead is therefore quite less but the number of episodes is still the same. The showrunners are trying hard to improve ratings for the series by keeping up the pace.
