Mr. Garcia was accused of taking bribes from Brazilian construction company Odebrecht but he always denied it. Odebrecht is a Brazilian construction company which has major infrastructure projects across the globe, including venues for 2016 Rio Olympics. But due to the anti-corruption investigating team, the company admitted to paying bribes in more than half of countries of Latin America.
