Black mirror is a sci-fi anthology which examines modern society and their relationship with technology. It depicts how humans can be sucked into technology. Every episode of this series is different. None of them are interlinked and narrate a different story in a different scenario.

All the four seasons of this dystopian series is available on Netflix to stream. The 5th season of the Black mirror is confirmed to be back in 2019 itself. Charlie Brooker, the showrunner, has said that it might not be too long to wait.
“It’s all imminent-ish. It’ll be out soon,” he said. “We’d already shot like, one of the episodes of season five before we did Bandersnatch.”
Black Mirror’s interactive Netflix movie Bandersnatch has caught the eyes of many. Black Mirror Bandersnatch is a movie set in 1984 where a young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a dark fantasy novel into a video game. “It is a mind-bending tale with multiple endings.”
On Bandersnatch, Charlie Brooker said, “Doing Bandersnatch was like doing several episodes at once, so in one respect the other season five episodes are more straightforward, though they all come with their own challenges.”
Charlie Brooker has managed to keep this season a mystery and nothing has been revealed yet. He did hint that the new episodes are going to be “a mix” of Black Mirror’s trademark nihilistic tone and some slightly lighter episodes.
“They’re all different tones, so [doing the full series] is quite similar to Bandersnatch in that respect,” added co-showrunner Annabel Jones.
No trailers have been out yet for the new season. However, we do know that filming for Black Mirror Season 5 has already begun and we should be hearing more about it very soon.

Miley Cyrus is confirmed to be in one of the episodes of the season. She told Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show on Wednesday that she had been recording in South Africa – where much of Black Mirror is filmed – during the Malibu wildfire that destroyed her house.
Avengers Infinity War star Anthony Mackie has reportedly been cast in Black Mirror Season 5.
Aquaman’s Villain Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is also going to be part of the Black Mirror cast.
