Rockstar’s GTA (Grand theft auto) series has been consistently the most popular games amongst the gamers and every gaming fan had been waiting for the new part of this series. Its been almost 6 years playing with GTA 5 and now it seems that the new part will be coming very soon. Fans were too much anxious to know about the GTA 6 and its trailer, what will be new features? How will be it’s graphic and location?
Rockstar’s president Leslie Benzies had said earlier that they have a roadmap for 45 years from now, but he had said anything about the new part. The major reason for the delay of GTA 6 is Red dead redemption 2, this is another very popular games amongst the console gamers since it is never ported on PC.
Rockstar was busy focusing on the smooth access Red dead redemption. Now since Red dead redemption 2 has been successfully launched so probably Rockstar will take 3 to 4 years to release GTA 6 since they don’t want competition among GTA 6 and Red dead redemption 2.
Talking about the rumors of GTA 6, one of the channels in youtube has stated that one of its inside sources has said them that GTA 6 will be released between 2021 to 2022 and is being developed under the code name Project America’s. The alleged insider also claimed that GTA 6 would be set in two cities- Liberty city and Vice city. Rockstar had not responded to such rumors.
Even after 6 years of GTA 5 fans were continuously loving it and were not bored by playing it. Rockstar has supported GTA online (the multiplayer component of GTA 5) and since the game launched back in September 2013 with regular content updates, So the gamers were indulged with it.
In an interview, Michael Pachter said that he thinks a 2020 announcement with a release on 2021 would be the best case scenario but 2021 announcement and 2022 release or later is the most favored case and it is more likely to be released later 2021 only.
While Leslie Benzies said that he has no news for GTA 6 yet but he went on to talk about the creative ideas that rockstar probably apply. He said, “we have got about 45 years worth ideas we want to do”.
He added about the location that “The map and story get worked together and the story is a basic flow of how it works out so you can layer the mission in”.
Therefore it can be concluded by saying that the release of GTA 6 will take time and it would be most probably launched in 2021 only.
