Lost In Space: Season 2 Confirmed by Netflix at the End of 2019!

Last year, Netflix confirmed that its science fiction drama ‘Lost in Space’ will return for a second season. ‘Lost in Space’ is an American science fiction series which is inspired from the 1965 series of the same name. Moreover, the 1965 series was itself a reimagination of the novel published in 1812 The Swiss Family Robinson.

The story revolves around the adventures of a family of space colonists. The Robinson family’s spaceship deviates from its course and crashes onto an alien planet. The planet is considerably alike Earth.

No fixed date for the second season of ‘Lost in Space’ has been announced yet by the developers. However, looking at the complex production that is required for the series. It is most likely that the next season might be out by the end of 2019 or in early 2020.

Lost In Space: Season 2

After an impact event, the survival of humanity on Earth is threatened. The Robinson family is selected for the mission Resolute. It is an interstellar spacecraft which is moving chosen families to colonize in a distant star system.

The show mainly focusses on the Robinson family. Maureen and John Robinson along with their three children, Will, Penny and Judy constitute the family.

Meanwhile, a breach occurs in the Resolute. They are forced to evacuate using short-range spacecraft. The Robinsons crash on a nearby livable planet. They have to adjust the alien environment and search for a way back to the Resolute.

Molly Parker plays the role of Maureen Robinson, who is an aerospace engineer. Toby Stephens plays John Robinson, a former U.S. Navy SEAL. Furthermore, June Harris is a criminal and Psychopath, played by Parker Posey.

The first season is currently streaming on Netflix.
