The hack and slash video game developed by Capcom for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One was released on March 8, 2019. Since then Devil May Cry 5 received generally favorable reviews for its game-play and many gamers love the adventure depicted in the game.
But recently the game’s producer quoted that the development of the game has been finished and developer seems to have no interest in making further content for the game. Matt Walker said, “Unfortunately we don’t plan on adding any more content to DMC5. In terms of RE, I sure hope there are more titles in the works cause RE2 was a huge success.”
The game is one of the best installment in the Devil May Cry series and somehow the best action games of all time. Real fans will be disgusted upon this decision. Also, Capcom is planning to launch the first and only first Devil May Cry for the Nintendo Switch this summer. Now at one instance, this is the great news as the Switch users can play DMC on the go. But there are certain confusion regarding this plan. Why would company opt for classic run instead of new and more featured game? The reason may be that the company would like to measure the interest of people on this game in this platform.
Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 is gaining outstanding praise and making good money than the DMC 5. This may be reason that developers doesn’t want to create more content for DMC 5.
