Finally, it has been made official!
The makers of Rick and Morty have eventually put an end to the wait and announced that the show is set to return in November this year.
We saw the last episode in October 2017. It has been 18 months since then.
It seems that the creators of the show took a break in order to cherish last season’s profits.
Earlier in April, Justin Roiland, co-creator of the show tweeted that ‘it is happening.’ Nothing else was mentioned, neither the release date.
‘Rick and Morty season four is happening. It’s amazing. It’s coming. No need to argue with the folks begging for S4,’ Justin Roiland tweeted.
Season One of Rick and Morty had 11 Episodes and it ran from December 2, 2013, to April 14, 2014. Season Two had 10 Episodes and it premiered on July 26, 2015, to October 4, 2015. Then it took a short break and release Season Three containing 10 Episodes on April 1, 2017. The last episode was aired on October 1, 2017. The episode was called “The Rickchurian Mortydate” and it was written by Dan Harmon. It was directed by Anthony Chun.
Cartoon Network confirmed that Rick and Morty would air for at least 70 more episodes. So, there is no chance that the series might end anytime soon. Fans have no issue regarding that. they can watch their favourite characters in many more seasons to come.
A recent video was released by the Adult Swim on their official social media pages. It confirmed that season four will be coming this November 2019. The video also ensured that Justin Roiland will continue to provide the voices for Rick and Morty.
