In a recent slew of leaks by multiple media sources and developers has somewhat confirmed what the next Call of Duty game will be called. And the name of Call of Duty 2019 will be Modern Warfare. Yes, it won’t be called Modern Warfare 4 and this should be confused with Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
A Twitter user by the name of LongSensation broke this news on Friday when he tweeted that the Call of Duty 2019 will be called ‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.’
Call of Duty 2019 is called…
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
I’m not joking.

Now many people might be thinking why should believe a random twitter user and why does his word count. Well, his word count because he is not the only one that has confirmed this news because Kotaku’s Jason Schreier has also confirmed this news on his twitter.
And the fact it’s unrelated to Modern Warfare Remastered, too… ?

And the final confirmation is given by Robert Bowling who is an active developer on the upcoming Call of Duty game.

A couple of weeks ago Robert Bowling made a tweet about his work on the next Call of Duty game. Now the interesting thing here is his shirt. His shirt clearly read Call of Duty MW.
About a month ago Activision was also in the news as they held a special gaming event for selected footballers/athletes. In that event, these athletes were allowed to play a demo of the upcoming Call of Duty 2019.
