WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Ric Flair emerged into hot news after he was discharged from hospital following a series of complicated heart condition treatment.
The legendary wrestler was admitted in a hospital in May and had to visit the hospital several times over a few weeks when his condition worsened down the line. Though details were scarce when he had an undisclosed medical emergency in Atlanta, he was treated in an emergency room and the condition was reportedly ‘very serious’ then.
Flair, 70, after that medical emergency had to visit the hospital four times in the course of seven weeks when his health took a drastic turn until he recently underwent a surgery to receive a new pacemaker.
“What happened was, this is the fourth time I’ve been in [the hospital] in seven weeks,” he said in an interview. “The other ones I was able to just lay low and go in for procedures. They finally figured out what type of pacemaker to put on me. Which I found out just exactly how important the operation of your heart is — you can’t breathe if your heart’s not working.”
He also revealed that he had a blood clot which was remedied and he excitedly said, “”I’m feeling great. I’m going to live to 95!”
