It is now official that American dark comedy web television series, ‘Dead to Me’ is renewed for next season. The announcement was made on June 3, on Netflix FYSee panel for the show.
Till now, Netflix has not made any confirmation on the release date. But on last year of April, the announcement for season 1 was made, and it premiered after a year later. It is possible that we can see this trend in the upcoming season. So most probably Dead to Me Season 2 will be released during summer 2020.
Its first season premiered on May 3, 2019, on Netflix. The series stars Christina Applegate (Jen Harding) and Linda Cardellini (Judy Hale), and it ended the season with a cliffhanger. So fans are impatient about the upcoming season.
Liz Feldman, who is the creator of the series, will return for the next season. She spoke something for the upcoming season. “This TV show will always be a show that explores the dark sides and the light sides of grief, loss, forgiveness, and friendship. So suffice it to say, there will be more darkness,” she says. “There’s an evening of the score, and there’s a rebalancing that will take place and almost, in some ways, a role reversal.”
So, we certainly don’t know what to expect from the second season as Feldman already has some ideas about what be the next for Jen and Judy.
The first season got positive reviews, and it is pretty hilarious. If you have not watched it yet, then GO FOR IT.
