Recently spotted with Camila Cabello on a lunch date, rumors have once again sparked up about the industry’s one of the heartthrobs. Shawn and Camila’s pair seems so adorable that fans can’t surmise about their potential ongoing chemistry!
Even though the duo has been seen just so many times both in public and on their phenomenal tours and concerts, fans skip the idea that they might be just good friends and not dating! But looking at their previous encounters, just dating seems unlikely too.
Shawn and Camila have been good friends for a very long time. Their duet ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ released back in 2015 was both a commercial and artistic success. Following the release, the heat of the rumor just got so out of hand that Shawn himself denied the rumors.
“A thing? No, we weren’t, actually,” Shawn told the People magazine. “We’re just really close friends. She is one of those people who is just very easy to connect with and still, to this day, is one of my greatest friends. You find that instant connection with people, and she’s one of them.”
Even after this evident and clear statement, fans still (sigh) continue speculating about their cute secret dating. Though this was way back in 2016, we have come a long way since then, and maybe they’ve gotten past their friendship phase?
