Leak Ahead of E3 2019: New Borderlands 2 DLC Releasing Soon!

The famous looter shooter franchise Borderlands 3 is just a few months away from release but it looks like the makers have revealed something accidentally to quench the fans’ thirst.

Scheduled to release this September, A Borderlands 2 DLC has leaked. Many gamers and fans are speculating that this DLC will mostly connect Borderlands 2 and the upcoming 2019 Borderlands 3 some sources. The listing leaked was called Commander Lillith and The Fight for Sanctuary which further says that the DLC would be free and Pandora will be saved by the Vault Hunters, Crimson Raiders and Lilith collectively.

Here’s what the details said:

“Return to the award-winning shooter-looter for a new adventure that sets the stage for the upcoming Borderlands 3. Sanctuary is under siege, the Vault’s map has been stolen and a toxic gas is poisoning Pandora. Fight new bosses, explore new zones, get new loot (including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary) and join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on ruling the planet.”

It is speculated that the DLC will launch this week just before the commencement of E3 2019 and would go live.

Since Lilith was spotted in Borderlands 3 trailer, it very likely that the game plot of Borderlands 2 and 3 will be linked and the Vault Hunters may embark on some exciting adventure via this probable postulation.

The DLC which is titled Commander Lilith and The Fight for Sanctuary was first spotted at the Steam listing. The interesting thing here is the listing places the release date on June 9th, that is today, the same day as Microsoft’s E3 Presentation.

If the suggested rumours prove to be true, it will definitely give something for the fans till they wait for Borderlands 3 release this September.
