Oh well, who comes in mind when you hear a deadly assassin, stylish and elegant fighter, one with charismatic combat and who never runs out of ammo? Probably (sarcasm), it is obviously John Wick. The all three John Wick movies stand atop in the list of most intriguing action movies. Come on, why it wouldn’t be?
The revengeful story that began with the murder of puppy resulted in shitloads of explosion and heck of gun-fights. Apparently, the John Wick movie actually change the existing arc of action movies. John Wick movies are profound in itself and presented the audience with stunning and awe-inspiring cinematic skill.
Well, John Wick is also another important factor to turnover another great happening in Hollywood- the rise and rise of Keanu Reeves. It’s unbelievable to see an actor who was struggling to provide an engaging movie to become a brand in himself. The guy who in the beginning years played in the movie for the teenage groups. He got praise after teen comedy Bill and Ted and often regarded his breakthrough movie. Later he landed on the great action flicks like Point Break and Speed. He was highly criticized and faced controversy for playing in year’s biggest action movie. But with years due to his escalating performance people adjusted their views regarding him after watching Him in The Matrix and Constantine.
The star who played a dude later played heroes, villains, darlings, hitman everything. He provided a lot of variation in the role. While talking to parade he said, “For me, it’s just continuing to be able to work with great artists and tell stories that people enjoy. I was always hoping, even when I was young, that I could do different things. I’m really grateful for that. I’m very fortunate. I’m glad to be here.”
Now after his remarkable performance in John Wick, Keanu Reeves live changed a lot. Reeves is now Hollywood darling with his outstanding persona in and off-screen. The movie-goers now only think Reeves as a perfect action hero. With his portrayal, he has now featured in a number of other platforms. Fortnite introduced his avatar in its store and it created hype about him much more among gamers.
Now Reeves is also featured in most anticipated Cyberpunk remake video-game, Cyberpunk 2077. When Reeves moved himself to the stage in E3 Xbox press Conference he was welcomed with tremendous cheers and met with an outburst of excitement from thousands of enthusiasts. Audiences even yelled out that he was breathtaking. Cyberpunk was much benefited from Reeves appearance.
He is even getting a cameo role in Netflix’s romantic comedy in Always Be My Maybe an important part of the Toy Story 4 as the motorcyclist Duke Caboom. This year is actually a Keanu Reeves year.
The 54-year-old is touching the horizon and becoming an INTERNET obsession.
