Return of Wesley Snipes aka the blade
There seems to be a lot of talk around the return of Wesley Snipes as Blade. Yes, you heard it right we might finally be getting Blade back on the silver screen. The movie which started it all for Marvel.
Wesley’s side of things… 
There had been rumors for a while now that blade series could get rebooted. These rumors were backed up in a recent interview . Wesley Snipes in his recent interview with vice said that “All the main execs [at Marvel] and my team, we’ve been discussing for the past two years. Everyone’s enthusiastic about it; everybody gets it. But they got a business to run, and they gotta square the things that they gotta figure out before they can get to it, I guess.”
This pretty much implies that there could be a Blade movie in the future. If we as fans needed more assurance about it, we have Wesley Snipes tweeting, “Up to Marvel….my teeth still sharp.” We now know that our favorite half vampire-half human was waiting for some action and has kept his teeth razor sharp for it.
Story on Disney’s side…
Disney CEO Bob Iger suggested the company would move into R-rated movies after seeing impressive performance of Dead pool. With Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, there’s a huge possibility for a blade reboot.
It has been 21 years since the first blade movie released. Yes, it has been that long . Fans had been eagerly waiting for any news on Blade. It has been so long that many had put it off a pipe dream. With all news and the rumors going around about Blade, this could be one of the longest and most anticipated movie reboot in superhero genre history. Wesley also hinted that what they could do with this movie would be so much more than what they had achieved earlier with blade trilogy. We all are brimming with excitement for all news that might surface about blade reboot. It is time for Marvel to pay its due to Blade for their first success by rebooting the franchise.
Even if Marvel is hesitant about rebooting Blade franchise, we as fans are pretty sure that we’d love to see Wesley Snipes back as the blade and to kick some…
