Better call soul season 5
While no information about what will happen in season five has been released, last night’s finale provided us with a lot to unpack.
The sad and beautiful ending delivered the final death knell for Jimmy McGill (played by Bob Odenkirk) as we know him.
The final scene emotionally threw viewers off a cliff as Jimmy’s true insincerity was revealed to Kim (Rhea Seehorn). Reinstated as a lawyer but about to undergo a trading name change, season five will deliver us, Saul Goodman, Saul Goodman as we know him from the Breaking Bad era.
It was presumed that Kim and Jimmy’s relationship would come to an end in this outing, but not quite, so a further deterioration in that regard is expected to be explored.
Mike (Jonathan Banks) is now in a morally questionable position as he carried out his first cold-blooded murder for Gus (Giancarlo Esposito).
His killing of Werner (Rainer Brock) perhaps too signals his descent into the unflappable hitman he is destined to become. Well, the show gains 99% ratings from Rotten Tomatoes so it will be more interesting to see how this show succeeds in gaining more and more fans in its upcoming years.
