Iron Man’s departure in Avengers: Endgame but fans might not have seen the last of Tony Stark, yet. Marvel is gearing up for its last Phase 3 movie with the release of Spiderman: Far from Home. Fans speculate that Iron Man might just have a cameo in the film.
An eagle eyes fan raised this possibility by looking at the trailer. Reddit user lessthanhero32 pointed out that Peter Parker put on some sophisticated shades in a quick shot in the trailer. Those shades closely resemble the high tech shades Tony Stark was often seen sporting.
The scene opens up the possibility for a return of Iron Man. As the fan pointed out, the reflection in Parker’s shades definitely looks like a projection of Iron Man. Parker definitely looked upset with Tony Stark gone and a message from his mentor would definitely edge him to take on his responsibilities. It would also explain Parker’s shocked expression on donning the shades.
If Stark were to return with a short message for Parker, it would be a fitting tribute to his character. Iron Man’s cameo in the movie would make for one of the more emotional moments for MCU fans. However some fans speculate that it would be more than a cameo.
Another Reddit user, TheVerifiedScoopMaster, suggested that Iron Man could be the AI in Spiderman’s suit. That would mean Tony would replace Karen as the AI that guides Spiderman. So, Parker would always have a few words of advice from Tony whenever he would need it. So, Robert Downey Jr might have cemented a permanent place in the MCU franchise.
Spiderman: Far from Home is slated to release after about a month. It is considered to be one of the bigger movies this year. Marvel hopes to continue its journey to Phase 4 in 2020.
