Kingsman 3 is slated to be released soon and fans are excited. There has been no details yet about the third instalment of the hit franchise. However, the makers warned the fans that Kingsman 3 must not be confused with the prequel of the franchise.
Matthew Vaughn, the director of Kingsman 3 has had fans eagerly waiting for the rest of the movie. Vaughn’s comments about the movie, had fans speculating.
He commented that the movie would definitely “freak out” fans. “ People will either freak out in a good way, or freak out in a bad way, but they will freak out,” Vaughn told The Playlist.
“You can expect the unexpected is all I’ll say… we’re literally finishing the script off as I speak — but they go on a journey that, if anyone sees it coming, then I’ll give up, ” he continued on Kingsman 3.
Vaughn confirmed that they would start the production of Kingsman 3 later in the year. It is expected to be released in 2021.
However, Matthew Vaughn also divulged some important news about the prequel to the franchise. He clarified that The Great Game is only a “working title”. The movie may not be called Kingsman: The Great Game upon its release. He also confirmed that they have wrapped up filming the prequel.
“Next year you’re getting The Great Game. It’s wrapped. [But] it’s not actually called The Great Game. I don’t know what it’s going to be called. That’s a working title. We wrapped last week, so we’re very excited about it. It’s incredibly different,” he said.
The prequel is slated to release next year starring Ralph Fiennes. The Great Game shall focus on road to the establishment of the secret organisation. It shall set during the first Wod War.
Vaughn hopes that people enjoy both Kingsman 3 and the prequel so he could continue making more movies. “If everyone likes the next two movies — there’s two more to come, hopefully, people like them enough that we can count on making another one, ” he said.
