From John Wick to Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077, Keanu Reeves is living his renaissance

We all know Keanu Reeves as the good-guy battling Russian Assasins from the John Wick Movies. And while we’re waiting for the release of John Wick 4, once again starring this badass character, something else starring Keanu Reeves is about to come out soon too. That’s right, Keanu Reeves is now playing Johnny Silverhand, iconic ghost in Cyberpunk 2077.

Believe it or Not, This Actually Works

While it may be a bit of a jump from the movies to the video games. Keanu Reeves had been battling bad guys for years as John Wick. So, it’s not hard to imagine him as the friendly ghost inside your head keeping you company as you take down some evil villains. And from what we saw at E3 2019 even the game’s story seems to be much in line with Johny Wick’s duties- you fight ruthless gang leaders, hackers, find a dead person and bring down some dangerous Night City gangs!
And of course, I think we all danced a little when he stepped up on the stage of E3 19 amidst a frenzied audience to announce his new role?

So How Long Do We Wait?

It’s safe to say that Keanu Reeves is keeping pretty busy right now. John Wick 4 is set to be released in the US on 21st May 2021, just two years after John Wick 3, which isn’t surprising considering it was announced only four days after the third chapter’s release.
Cyberpunk 2077 on the other hand, one of the most anticipated video games of the year, comes out on 16th April 2020, a bit of a shorter wait although months can turn into years when we’re waiting for this desperately.

What Does This Mean For Us?

Well, we should continue to see Keanu Reeves here and there, doing some interviews, going off for filming, in Toy Story 4, Always Be My Maybe and then for some promo for John Wick 4, but as for either of these two- the wait is officially on!
