ABOUT CASTLE SERIES
Castle is an American Comedy Series with an 8.1 IMDb rating first released on March 9, 2009, and ended in 2016. The story revolves around a homicide detective played by Stana Katic as Kate Beckett and a book writer played by Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle. They both come together and solve cases in the series. This continues for eight long seasons until the ninth season gets canceled due to unknown sources. People loved the series not only because of its writing but the characters to which they could relate so readily.
Along with the two lead characters the other characters such as Tamala Jones as Lanie, Meghan Duchess of Sussex as Charlotte, Susan Sullivan, Ruben Santiago Hudson, and Molly Quin had significant supporting roles and were loved by all.
WHY DID IT GET CANCELED?
Though there is no such confirmed source in why the loved show got canceled many fans assumed that it might be because of Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion not getting along, or Stana Katic leaving the show ultimately led to cancellation by ABC. It was a heartbreaking moment for many fans as they nowhere saw it coming.
IS IT COMING BACK EVER?
Finally, in an interview with Stana Katic, when asked about Castle that, could there be any chance of a reboot, firstly she said the makers must know and when asked again what would she do if they call her for the same, she said well ‘wait and see.’ And this was enough to create buzz and hope for the fans.
But the question is even if they make a comeback would there be the same cast or complete change and how will the fans react if a complete change happens. Undoubtedly in the later seasons, the daughter of Kate and Richard played by Molly as Alexis Castle was much appreciated, maybe she can start with her own story, and that would be a great spin-off. Well, whatever it takes a sequel for the loved show is undoubtedly awaited.
