Reeves assumed “Batman” directing duties from Ben Affleck in January 2017. Reeves will produce the movie with his “Planet of the Apes” collaborator Dylan Clark. Pattinson’s main rival for the role was Nicholas Hoult who previously played Hank McCoy, aka the Beast, in the X-Men movies. After it was announced that Robert Pattinson would play Batman, the response was mixed. Many felt nervous about Batman’s future with Robert as a lead, and others were positive about it. Some thought that Robert could become the best version of Batman considering the roles portrayed by him in the last ten years after Twilight.

What about the Antagonist??

There have been speculations about who Batman(Pattinson) is going to go up against in the movie. If rumors are to be believed, Batman will go up against more than one villain in Matt Reeves’ new Batman trilogy. Fans have already started making their suggestions considering who should be cast as the Villain. Other suggestions for the cast by fans include Vanessa Hudgens and Jack Black to take on the role of Catwoman and The Penguin, respectively.

There haven’t been any revelations on the plot details, but the project seems to be centered on a younger Caped Crusader as he tackles several of his more traditional enemies such as The Penguin and Catwoman.

For all we care, we want Robert Pattinson and Reeves to give us a masterpiece so that we can hopefully forget the disastrous recent Batman ventures.
