Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton return to their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate. The sci-fi action film would have Tim Miller as director and shall have David Ellison and James Cameron as producers. Cameron recently shared a photograph of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor on Instagram.

Although, the film maybe the sixth in the Terminator franchise, Cameron considers it a sequel to his previous Terminator movies. Cameron maintained that Dark Fate would be a sequel to 1991’s Judgement Day and 1984’s The Terminator. Dark Fate is also the third film in the franchise to have James Cameron.
Paramount Pictures, which is the distributor of the film in North America, recently released the premise for Dark Fate. “27 years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a new, modified liquid metal Terminator (Gabriel Luna) is sent from the future by Skynet in order to terminate Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), a hybrid cyborg human (Mackenzie Davis), and her friends. Sarah Connor comes to their aid, as well as the original Terminator, for a fight for the future.”
Dark Fate stars Linda Hamilton who returned to her iconic role of Sarah Connors after 28 years. She had last portrayed the character on Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Her return is much awaited by the fans.

Cameron was full of praise for his lead actress. He shared her photograph on Instagram alongside the caption,” I can’t believe it’s been 28 years since T2 — and Linda looks more badass now than she did back then!”
There has been no definite details about the fate of either Arnold Schwarzenegger or Linda Hamilton’s character. Terminator: Dark Fate also promises of a few flashbacks to Sarah Connor with her son James Connor.
The eagerly anticipated movie is slated to arrive in theatres in November 1st, this year.
