Ever since season 1, Riverdale has become a brand of its own. With 3 successful seasons, makers are now planning to return with season 4. This announcement made fans go insane and they are eagerly waiting for Riverdale Season 4.
Riverdale is a teen web series based on characters of Archie Comics. The series deals with a horror mystery plot which debuted way back in 2017. In January 2019, CW renewed the series for its fourth season.
Season 4 is likely to have 22 episodes and will probably release on 9 October 2019. While season 3 was absolutely ridiculous, this time makers are planning to come up with an interesting story line.
PLOT DETAILS OF SEASON 4 –
As far as the plot is concerned, there is still no official revelation on that. But as per sources, Charles will be taking the lead in season 4. He will investigate The Farm and Edgar and will complicate the situation for Cooper and Jones families.
Though the most interesting aspect still remains disclosed. The sudden demise of Luke Perry will bring a major twist in season 4 storyline. Maybe this season would deal with the absence of Luke’s character Fred Andrews.
When creators were asked regarding Luke’s absence, they said,”When Luke had passed, we had already pretty much plotted out the end of this season and written the end of this season. Rather than try to squeeze something in and potentially not get it right, we thought, let’s take a beat and let’s figure out really what would be the best way to honor Luke and to honor the character of Fred and let’s do it at the top of season four. Luckily, Molly [Ringwald] was already slated to come, so we kind of just reflected and wanted to give ourselves the time to do those things right.”
