2016’s Financial Thriller Money Monster Hits Netflix Next Week!

George Clooney makes us sit in front of our couches as he dons an explosive jacket while being kept as hostage in the trailer for 2016’s hit thriller, Money Monster, who soon bows to the streaming device Netflix in the coming week.

Debuting on the streaming giant on 26 June, Sony summarises its 2016 blockbuster by giving the perfect synopsis: Lee Gates is a bombastic TV personality whose favorite financial network show has made him the money wiz of Wall Street. After the hawks a high tech stock that mysteriously crashes, an irate investor takes Gates, his crew, and his ace producer, Patty Fenn hostage, live on air. It unfolds in real time. Gates and Fenn must find a way to keep themselves alive while simultaneously uncovering the truth behind a tangle of big money lies.

As a classic hostage thriller, Money Monster is one successful work. Every minute is tense and keeps your eyes glued to the screen. It has universally excellent performances, unique script, and a satisfying yet saddening storyline. George Clooney gives an outstanding performance and Julia Roberts as Patty delivers an influential role.

She seems more technically proficient as the film includes beautiful scenes and more smooth flow in the script, she directs with a satisfying combination of skill and classic Hollywood techniques.
