Recently she made everyone shut who commented on her body and body shamed her. She made it pretty clear that she is the owner of her body, and she has embraced it gracefully. She hardly pays attention to those trollers.

What She Said

In her upcoming July issue of Allure, she mentioned the photographers not to photoshop her stretch marks. She said, “It was always what others thought about my body until I gained a voice. Now I get to tell people what I think of my body.”

Raising a Voice

The model industry is all about perfection. Ashley certainly negates the idea with her powerful comment on her body. Her voice is surely going to make a change in people’s opinion and perception. The model industry needs to have more diversity in terms of body shapes, colours, sexuality.

She Inspires

With her bold comment, she has truly inspired many of her fellow models as well as the aspiring ones. She took advantage of her popularity to spread awareness among everybody that body shaming is an awful thing to do. Ashley’s comment will inevitably change the game in the future.
