Pennywise is back as an evil clown who looks even scarier than before. IT: Chapter 2 is the sequel to Warner Bro’s 2017 blockbuster IT.
Following the success of the first film, Andy Muschietti, returns to the direct the sequel. Just like the 2017 film, Chapter Two is based on Stephen King’s 1986 novel fo the same name. Gary Dauberman also returns as the screenwriter for the film.
Set in the haunting backdrop of 1989, IT follows the adventures of The losers club who discover that their small town of Derry is home to an ancient trans-dimensional evil in the disguise of a clown. The sequel, IT: Chapter Two will see the return of the losers club to fight against the child-devouring clown.

Set 27 years after the events of IT, the members of the losers club are all grown up
James McAvoy has been cast as Bill Denborough as the leader of the Losers Club, while Jessica Weixler joins the cast as his wife, Audra Phillips.

The Club is rounded off by, Bill Hader as Richie Tozier, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Andy Bean as Stan Uris, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, Isaiah Mustafa as Mike Hanlon, and Jessica Chastain as Beverly Marsh.
Bill Skarsgård reprises his role as the terrifying malevolent entity IT, who commonly takes the form of Pennywise the Clown.

Interviews with Andy Muschietti have revealed that the sequel is going to be “scarier and more intense” than the first film. Meanwhile,
Jessica Chastain dropped a spoiler on the Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, saying that Chapter Two would set a record for the bloodiest horror scene in a movie. Isn’t that just lovely?
Chapter Two hits theaters on September 6, 2019.
