The “Good Girls” Are Back! Shooting has Begun but What to Expect?

The news of the Good Girls coming back is literally everywhere. The NBC did renew the show for a third season which is likely to air in 2020.

The story of Good Girls revolves around three friends Beth (Christina Hendricks), Ruby (Retta), and Annie (Mae Whitman) who in order to meet ends, rob a supermarket. After this incident, they are welcomed into the world of crime and the storyline follows.

The second season was full of hardships for all the three characters. The season in totality included illegal activities for Beth, Ruby being threatened by the FBI and Annie suffering. The season ended with Beth shooting her love Rio and not the detective. While the other two try and make their personal lives a bit more comfortable. Some sources say Rio is not dead and that this was a plan to get back at Beth.

As of now, no date has been confirmed but there are chances that the show may air in early 2020. Universal Television will be producing the show and Michael Neaver will be the director and the executive producer. “We’re so excited to continue following the friendship and adventures of these three incredible women while also exploring relatable issues in both funny and surprising ways” stated the Co-Presidents of NBC.

Since the last season has an average rating of 6.4/10, i.e, 60% on Rotten Tomatoes, the story of the series is quite interesting and enthralling. As one of the sources had said that even if the story is not up to the mark, the acting of these fabulous women rule the screens and absolutely nail it. As so much has already happened in season 2, the expectation of the fans have risen and we can’t wait for 2020.
