Nicki ‘Barbie’ Minaj and Trina have dropped their new collaboration called ‘BAPS’ which will be featured on Trina’s new album ‘The One’.
The duo dropped a teaser back in 2018, and the highly anticipated track was finally released. It was sampled by the 2000s song ‘Project Bitch’, by rap duo ‘Big Tymers’ and Juveline. The music, melody and the Ms. Pac Man sound effect was also used. The track is a ‘bop’ according to the listeners and is quickly climbing the charts.
In the song, Trina ‘Saggitarius Bitch’ named her exes which include French Montana, Tory Lanez and Lil Wayne, and she had something to say about all of them, and not in a good way. Barbie praised her crew and spoke about how they’re all that, while also throwing shade at her exes. Combining the two rappers, it is as fans describe it- ‘a boss bitch’ anthem.
Trina stated in an interview that the working with Nicki Minaj was easy but the reason the release took long was because they needed clearance from ‘Cash Money Millionaires’ for sampling their song ‘Project Bitch’.
